you lucky sod hannah, i wish i could get a lift, i think my dads going down to leeds a few days before but that's no good to me. Im having to get a 4.28am train from Glasgow. Saying that, i can't compain, despite it having an annoying change it only cost me 18 quid return, and gets me into leeds at a decent time!

I think i only paid around 25 quid in a taxi to leeds fest from the station in 2006, but i doubt it will still be that price. Bus it is, where do we get them from?

I travelled the not too far distance from Edinburgh to Leeds. Only went on the Friday, and my friend and I got a bus near the train station and the Cockpit venue (I smiled, live album from the fellas and all!). If anyone is struggling to get there, my friend and I are doing the exact same this year and will be getting the bus to the festival site, and you would be more than welcome to join us or we could show you how to get there!

Would be great to meet any of you guys (Leeds people) there. If not, see you at the front for the Cribs!

It's looking like Cribs will be clashing with Frank Turner (which happened to glasto too) Which really sucks.

If that does happen, then as much as I love the Cribs I'll have to miss them as Frank Turner is the most exciting thing in music today.
Would you stay on standby, or are you going for gold?

oh shit I was afraid that was gonna happen :( ... I'm the other way round though. As much as I love Frank Turner The Cribs are my favourite band so that was an easy contest really  If it was any other bands I love though that would have been a toughie!

I think a lot of Frank Turner's music is proper naff.
Every time I attempt to make a decent signature I fail so this will do. FINE?!

Yeah I wanted to see Darwin Deez too. It's a right horrible three way clash! Shame I can't create two clones of myself for that hour ;)

So forty-five minutes for the gents this year. A good amount of time to be fair, what is everyone hoping for, and will we get Housewife?

Really looking forward to this show, could really do with seeing some respectable people with sincerity and genuine love of talented music. Anyone gonna be about at Leeds for a hello and a cup of tea inbetween bands?

imagine it'll be something like:

we were aborted
hey scenesters!
we share the same skies
hari kari
cheat on me
another number
mirror kissers
ignore the ignorant
housewife
our bovine public
i'm a realist
mens needs
city of bugs

hope we get a little surprise though!

edit: bit of a long shot but i wouldn't mind seeing 'curse this english rain'

"Not available in your area".

Stupid BBC! When do they realise that it really shouldn't matter because I've seen 'City of bugs' (halfway in) on BBC3 last night, on my very own TV in my very own area...

Who is advanced enough to rip this for all of us not being in the right area? Thanks will be plenty!
